A trip to the Waste Expo and some time spent in the French Quarter, at the Jazz Festival and on Honey Island Swamp.
Although the French Quarter is something of a tourist-trap there are plenty of opportunities for street photography, and of course some great food.
Jazz Festival
We were fortunate enough to arrive at the same time as the 2023 Jazz Festival. $85 for a day ticket was a bargain and we chanced upon a shuttle bus to take us there. Even better, the person we asked for directions had two spare tickets and gifted them to us!
Honey Island Swamp
No trip to New Orleans is complete without a swamp tour, up close with alligators, snakes and whatever else you don’t want to be up close with!
