If you want to escape the busy cityscape and enjoy some quiet California sunshine then I recommend a trip to the Botanical Gardens.
Before you do, check out the Beanery coffee shop on 9th Avenue. It’s a proper coffee shop and if you want to get away from the inevitable Starbucks stuff I recommend it.
